MEET AIMEE C. BROOKS, DVM, MS, DACVECC
Clinical Associate Professor, Small Animal Emergency and Critical Care, Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine
Dr. Brooks received her DVM from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She completed a rotating internship at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and then was a practicing ER veterinarian at the Wisconsin Veterinary Referral Center in Waukesha, WI.
Subsequently, she completed a residency at The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine and became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care in 2014.
She is currently an associate professor in small animal emergency/critical care at Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine. Her interests include transfusion medicine, point-of-care monitoring/ultrasound, sodium/electrolyte abnormalities, and fluid therapy.
