Join us for a day of expert instruction, collaborative learning, and practical feline medicine that will help you deliver better care for your feline patients and strengthen relationships with the clients who love them.
Cats have unique medical needs, subtle clinical signs, and distinct handling requirements that can make diagnosis and treatment especially challenging. Join us for an engaging, in-person feline medicine seminar designed for small animal veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and support staff who are committed to providing exceptional feline care.
This practical, case-based seminar will explore common feline diseases and current best practices in diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management as well as how to create a more feline-friendly practice. You'll also gain practical tips for reducing stress during examinations and improving the client experience.

EBVS® European Veterinary Specialist in Small Animal Internal Medicine
Dr. Černá is an ACVIM and ECVIM diplomate in Small Animal Internal Medicine, RCVS Recognized Specialist in Feline Medicine and Diplomate of American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (Feline).
She graduated from the University of Veterinary Sciences in the Czech Republic in 2018 where she also obtained her first PhD in 2023. After completing two internships in the UK, she completed Small Animal Internal Medicine Residency at Colorado State University, USA in 2023 and her second PhD focusing on feline infectious peritonitis in 2025.
Dr. Černá gained the Membership of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in the Medicine of Cats. She was also awarded the ISFM Advanced Certificate in Feline Behaviour with Distinction.
Dr. Černá has particular interest in feline medicine and is focusing her research on feline infectious diseases and especially FIP and is currently an Assistant Professor at the University of Georgia.

| 10:00 AM - 10:50 AM | FIP: Diagnosis Develop a systematic diagnostic approach to suspected FIP, incorporating clinical signs, laboratory data, imaging, and confirmatory testing. |
| 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM | FIP: Treatment Implement current antiviral treatment protocols, including drug selection, dosing strategies, and duration of therapy. Monitor treatment response and identify markers of successful vs. inadequate response. |

Learn how IRIS staging can help guide CKD management, as well as how to use the AAFP Senior Care Guidelines in your everyday practice. |
| 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM | Feline Cognitive Dysfunction & Mycobacterium Understand how to recognize signs of feline cognitive dysfunction. Learn about different clinical presentation of mycobacterial diseases in cats. Understand the different diagnostic methods for diagnosis mycobacterial infections in cats. Learn about treatment options for cats with mycobacterial infections. |
