Professional Bio
Dr. Dana Tatman-Lilly obtained her Master of Science degree in nutritional sciences (University of Wisconsin, 2000); worked as a researcher for four years then attended veterinary school at Michigan State University where she received her DVM in 2008. She completed a small animal rotating internship at two large specialty practices in the Chicago area and then returned to mid-Michigan where she has been practicing small animal medicine since. Dr. Tatman-Lilly is passionate about feline medicine and behavior thus the following certificates: ISFM Advanced Feline Behaviour for Veterinary Professionals with distinction, CVE Feline Medicine Distant Education Certificate, and FelineVMA (formerly American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP)) Cat Friendly Veterinarian Certificate. Dr. Tatman-Lilly served on the MVMA Board of directors for 9 years, served as the 2024 MVMA president and is Chair of the Small Animal Series. She currently sits on the FelineVMA board of directors.
