Associate Veterinarian (Full-Time)

Ferstl Veterinary Hospital, an independently owned small animal practice established in 1949, is seeking a compassionate Associate Veterinarian to join our team. You'll practice high-quality medicine with an experienced support staff, mentorship opportunities, professional autonomy, and scheduled relief veterinarian coverage when needed.
Responsibilities:
• Wellness & preventive care
• Sick appointments
• Simple dentistry
• Soft tissue surgery
• Simple orthopedic surgery
• Ultrasound (if experienced)
• Digital radiography & CT imaging
• In-house diagnostics
• Client education & euthanasia services
Schedule:
Monday–Thursday 9 AM–5 PM
Friday 9 AM–6 PM
Occasional Saturday walk-in clinic (10 AM–1 PM)

Our hospital features CT imaging with board-certified veterinary radiologist interpretation, ultrasound, digital radiography, comprehensive in-house laboratory diagnostics, and Shepherd electronic medical records.
Qualifications: DVM, Michigan licensure eligibility, DEA license, USDA accreditation (or eligible), GP and soft tissue surgery experience preferred.
