BASIC HOOF ASSESSMENT AND TRIMMING WET LAB FOR THE FOOD ANIMAL PRACTITIONER

Built for the realities of field and clinical practice, this hands-on wet lab is designed for food animal practitioners seeking to strengthen their skills in bovine hoof health. Participants will learn practical techniques for basic hoof assessment, lesion identification, and functional hoof trimming through guided instruction and supervised practice. Emphasis will be placed on recognizing common causes of lameness, improving animal welfare, and applying effective trimming methods in field settings.
